民国前南唐词接受史研究

摘 要

唐末五代时期,词体创作日益繁盛,南唐词作为其中的佼佼者,词作无论在数量上还是在质量上都占有重要地位。从北宋到清末,对南唐词的接受情况或繁盛或沉寂,始终贯穿于词学发展的历史中。

宋代对于南唐词的接受情况较为曲折。北宋初期,南唐词的含蓄蕴藉的词风得到了当时词人的广泛喜爱与赞赏,词坛领袖晏殊、欧阳修词作的创作也基本延续了南唐词风,南唐词烜赫一时。北宋中期,随着慢词的兴起,小令创作逐步没落,对于南唐词的接受进入了漫长的沉寂期。

金元时期词学式微,金代主张清越刚健的豪放词风,元代词作多缅怀亡宋。文学论著对南唐词鲜有提及。

明朝词坛受“主情说”风气影响,以花间词为宗,推崇绮丽言情的词作,对南唐词多有褒奖。同时词籍整理风气尚行,对南唐词多有收录、评价,虽然总体水平不高,仍有可圈可点之处。

清代词学复兴,对于南唐词的接受主要集中在清初的纳兰性德、中晚期的常州词派和清末学者王国维身上,其他词学论著对南唐词亦多有赞誉,南唐词迎来了其接受史上的高峰期。

对南唐词在后世的接受史进行梳理,有助于从更深层面挖掘南唐词在词学发展史的独特地位。

Abstract:

During the late Tang and Five Dynasties, Ci-poetry creation becomes more and more prosperous, the Southern Tang Ci-poetry as one of the best, both in quantity and quality occupies an important position. From the Northern Song Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty, the reception on Southern Tang Ci-poetry takes an air of prosperity or decline, which runs through the history of the development of the Ci-poetry

The Song Dynasty had seen a complicated process about the appreciation of the Ci-poetry works of the Southern Tang Dynasty. To begin with the implicit style of the Southern Tang Ci-poetry works had been highly appreciated by writers then, including Yan Shu and Ouyang Xiu, and been fashionable till the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty. But this situation was changed by the rising of new Ci-poetry form.

The Ci-poetry writing declined in the Jin and Yuan Dynasty. The writers during this period preferred different theme and style with Southern Tang Ci-poetry. The writers and critics then merely commented on the Southern Tang Ci-poetry works.

Under the theory of Li Dongyang, Xu Wei and Wang Shizhen, the works of Huajian Ci-poetry had been regarded as the model. Then the style of the Southern Tang Ci-poetry had been highly appreciated once again. With the revival of the Southern Tang Ci-poetry ,many selected works and comments were published, including some valuable works, even though the overall level is not high.

During the Qing Dynasty, the research of Ci-poetry revives, the reception of NanTang Ci-poetry mostly concentrate in the Nalan Xingde,the Ci school of Changzhou and Wang Guowei, other researches of Ci-poetry also has praise on the NanTang Ci-poetry, and it comes the peak of the reception of the NanTang Ci-poetry.

Studying the later acceptance of Southern Tang Ci-poetry will be helpful to recognize its character and unique position in the history of Chinese literature.

词作为一种起源于隋唐的新兴文体,在其达到两宋之际的巅峰时期之前,五代时期以后蜀和南唐为中心的词人在对词体的发展上起到了不可忽视的巨大作用,相对于后蜀花间词派香软秾艳的词风,南唐词以其语淡情深、含蓄蕴藉的词风更胜一筹,对之后的词坛产生了巨大影响。但从北宋到清朝,各朝词人、学者对于南唐词的态度却大相径庭。对于这一特殊的现象,学术界鲜有论及。本文试从接受美学的角度,通过分析具体词人、词派对南唐词的态度,探究南唐词在后世的接受情况。
