Abstract：Nowadays, due to the impact of the development of the market economy, the exhibition design profession has become an important way to develop the economy and prosper the market. It covers social, political, economic, and cultural aspects and promotes the development of the entire society. For example, the combination of a large exhibition hall is a Multi-purpose buildings sometimes represent the image of a city or country. As a large-scale exhibition hall combines cultural, economic, and scientific and technological facilities into a comprehensive building, sometimes it represents the image of a city or a country. Today's exhibition hall design must not only attract the attention of visitors, but also be able to This approach is particularly important in meeting people’s cultural needs. Therefore, the design of the exhibition hall should not only consider the form of the exhibition, but also be more important in terms of materials and craftsmanship. Therefore, this paper uses bamboo material as the research object. It is mentioned that the impression given by bamboo material is mostly the material of traditional classical charm. However, this paper aims to break away from the social stereotype image of bamboo material and research and develop more potential value on it. A different perspective brings this traditional element into modern display design. It can break free from the endowed temperament character. It can also be redefined to apply to any place, and it is a modern idea to promote its rich other qualities to people. And emotions. In the dissertation, the physical characteristics and properties of bamboo were firstly analyzed, and then the cultural significance and material significance were analyzed. The technical problems of bamboo materials currently mastered and the potential forms of bamboo art in modern manufacturing techniques were thoroughly explored. The summary of the application value of bamboo in the pavilion was divided into four aspects: economy, ecology, education, and art value. Then the structure of bamboo was analyzed and an actual case was analyzed. At the end of the article, the significance of the development of traditional materials and new materials for the exhibition space was proposed and summarized.
