Abstract: “Black and odor bodies of water” is an extreme phenomenon of eutrophication of water bodies. The adverse impact on the ecological environment of water bodies is incalculable, and it has caused great harm to human daily production, life, and human health. Under the background of this eco-environment, in order to study the effects of submerged aquatic plant Vallisneria japonicus on nitrogen deposition in sediments and overlying waters in black and odorous waters, Qunying River (Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology) was chosen as an experimental sample for this experiment. At the site, the black muddy river sediment and its overlying water body were taken as experimental samples and placed in a glass test barrel with a height of 1 m with the same standard, and different numbers of Vallisneria were planted in the experiment to simulate river courses. During the experiment, four different experimental treatment groups were set up: a blank control group, a Vallisneria group A planted with Vallisneria, a Vallisneria group B planted with two Vallisneria plants, and a Vallisneria planted with three Vallisneria plants C The group conducts a one-month simulated river experiment, and the experiment barrel takes a sample of black and odorous water sediments and its overlying water samples for an interval of five days. After sampling, the N content in sediment samples, total nitrogen (TN) and total dissolved nitrogen (TDN) in overlying water samples were measured, and changes in measured values were compared after the end of the experiment.

The results of the experimental data analysis of the contents of N elements in the black and odor sediment sample and total nitrogen (TN) and total dissolved nitrogen (TDN) in the overlying water samples were summarized as follows: 1. Planted Vallisneria had a significant effect on the reduction of nitrogen content in sediments, indicating that the use of submerged plants can effectively reduce the content of nitrogen in sediments of black-stench rivers, but Vallisneria spp. Absorption attenuation of the content is limited, too high nitrogen concentration is not conducive to the growth of Vallisneria; 2, planting Vallisneria can significantly reduce the total nitrogen TN and total dissolved nitrogen TDN content in overlying water, Vallisneria The contents of TN and TDN in the overlying waters of the A, B, and C test groups were initially increased and then decreased due to the floating of ammonium NH4 -N in the sediments, but were significantly lower than the blank test after the end of the test. group.
