Abstract:Subtitle translation of f film and television works is restricted by time and space because of the particularity of film and television works. There are differences between the strategies of film subtitle translation and traditional translation. This thesis discusses the principle and the application of the Relevance Theory, and analyzes the subtitle translation of the TV series —The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel from the perspective of Relevance Theory in three common subtitle translation strategies. It is believed that the Relevance Theory has a strong explanatory power on subtitle translation. Subtitle translation should be guided by the principle of good relevance, since relevance allows the audience to get the maximum contextual effect with minimal effort.

摘要：影视作品的特殊性致使字幕翻译受到时间和空间等方面的约束，影视作品的字幕翻译的策略与传统翻译具有一定的区别。本文对关联理论的原理与应用进行了讨论，并以关联理论为视角探讨和研究美剧《了不起的麦瑟尔女士》的字幕翻译，提出了三种常用的字幕翻译策略，得出为了达到作品预期预期的效果与影响，字幕翻译应以最佳关联原则为指导的结论，使观众凭借最小的努力达到最大程度的理解。
