Abstract:Microwave technology is mainly concerned with engineering problems related to electromagnetic fields and radiation fields. It is a very important basic discipline in satellite and radar meteorology and is of great significance to the development of satellite and radar technologies. The circular waveguide joint is a kind of microwave device with a wide range of applications, a relatively fixed structure, and a good universality. The use of a circular waveguide joint as a typical antenna component module is more conducive to modularization.Creating rotary joints requires knowledge of the position and attitude of the rotary joint relative to the base coordinate system. By using the simulation software HFSS, by observing the corresponding transmission curve and related parameters, it is possible to obtain more efficient parameter settings. At the same time, the modular program design has good scalability and feasibility of secondary development. After the process of modeling, simulation, optimization, verification and other processes, the following conclusions are obtained in this experiment:(1) Changing the input/output port (ie, the input/output port to be tuned) does not affect the optimal operating frequency band and transmission efficiency of the waveguide rotary joint. (2) The rotation of the rotary joint of the circular waveguide does not affect the transmission efficiency of the waveguide. (3) Simulation results The best working frequency band of the circular waveguide rotary joint is 9.8-10.2 GHz. (4) Connect the physical object to the signal generator and the spectrum analyzer to perform peak search for different frequencies. Inferred a roughly optimal operating frequency range of 9.4-9.5GHz.
